A Modesto man died in a suspected DUI crash Sunday evening at a roundabout on State Route 49/108 Jamestown. Jesus Rubio, 40, was driving a GMC Yukon at high speed south on the highway toward the roundabout at People of the Mountain Road just after 5 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Rubio made an 'unsafe turning movement to the right' and struck a metal light pole. The GMC continued in a southerly direction and overturned multiple times through the traffic circle at the roundabout, ejecting Rubio, according to the CHP.
